Please prepare the following files for upload when submitting your manuscript: Main manuscript file, figures, and tables either embedded within the manuscript or provided in a separate file, supplementary material if applicable, and cover letter (see below for content)
Cover Letter
Your cover letter, addressed to the Editor-in-Chief, should be a concise document that:
- States the title of your manuscript.
- Confirms the manuscript is original and has not been previously published nor is it under consideration elsewhere.
- Confirms compliance with all ethical guidelines outlined in Alkimi’s Publication Ethics policy.
- Briefly summarizes the main findings and significance of your research.
Suggesting Reviewers
Authors are encouraged to suggest up to five unbiased qualified reviewers who possess expertise relevant to the manuscript. Please provide their full names, institutional email addresses, and if possible their institutional affiliations. Please avoid suggesting individuals with whom you have direct collaborations or conflicts of interest.
Excluding Reviewers
Authors may request the exclusion of specific individuals as reviewers if there is a legitimate reason (e.g., direct conflict of interest, previous strong disagreement). Such requests should be made in the cover letter, along with a brief explanation for the exclusion. While we will endeavor to honor such requests, the final decision rests with the Editor.
